As our animals reside in private foster homes rather than a shelter, an approved application is required before arranging a meet and greet. The adoption fee varies based on the age of the dog.
To be considered for adoption, we require the following:
Additionally, current and past pets must:
1. Submit an Adoption Application: Complete the adoption application form available on the rescue’s website. This form typically asks for information about your household, lifestyle, and experience with pets.
2. Home Check: A representative from the rescue may conduct a home visit to ensure that your living environment is suitable for a new dog. This visit helps assess the safety and comfort of your home.
3. Provide Veterinary References & Verify Pet Care:To verify the care of any current or past pets. This helps the rescue ensure that your pets have received proper veterinary care. Confirm that all current and past pets in your home are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and consistently maintained on year-round heartworm prevention.
4. Meet the Dogs: Once your application is approved, arrange a meet and greet with the dog you are interested in. This allows you to interact with the dog and ensure it is a good fit for your family.
1. The entire family and pets must be available.
5. Complete an Adoption Contract: If you decide to proceed, you will need to sign an adoption contract outlining your responsibilities and the terms of the adoption.
6. Pay the Adoption Fee: The adoption fee helps cover the costs of care and medical treatment for the dog. Fees may vary depending on the dog’s age and other factors.
7. Bring Your New Dog Home: After finalizing the adoption, you can bring your new dog home. The rescue will provide support and resources to help with the transition.
8. Follow Up: Stay in touch with the rescue for any additional support or advice as needed. Some rescues may require periodic updates or check-ins.

Adopting a bonded pair of dogs comes with unique benefits that make it a rewarding experience. Here are some fantastic reasons to adopt a bonded dog pair:
1. Built-In Companionship:
Bonded pairs already have a strong relationship, providing each other with comfort and companionship. This can make their transition into a new home smoother, as they have a familiar friend by their side.
2. Reduced Anxiety:
Dogs in bonded pairs often experience less separation anxiety because they have each other for comfort and support. This can lead to fewer behavioral issues when left alone.
3. Easier Training:
When one dog is well-trained, the other often follows suit. The bond between them can make training easier, as they learn from each other and follow cues together.
4. Prevents Loneliness:
Adopting a bonded pair ensures that your dogs will always have company, even when you’re not around. This can reduce the likelihood of boredom-related behaviors, such as excessive barking or chewing.
5. Double the Love and Fun:
With a bonded pair, you get twice the love, snuggles, and joy. Watching their interactions and unique relationship can be endlessly entertaining and heartwarming.
6. Easier Socialization:
Bonded pairs are typically well-socialized with each other, which can help them feel more secure in new environments and around new people or other pets.
7. Less Guilt When You’re Busy:
If your schedule sometimes keeps you away from home, a bonded pair can entertain each other, reducing your guilt about leaving them alone.
8. A Ready-Made Family:
Adopting a bonded pair means you’re bringing home an instant family. They’ve already established their dynamic, and you get to be a part of it without the need to worry about introducing a second dog later.
9. You’re Saving Two Lives:
By adopting a bonded pair, you’re not just saving one life, but two. Many bonded pairs struggle to find homes because people are often hesitant to adopt two dogs at once, so you’re making a huge difference by keeping them together.
10. Strong Emotional Bond:
The connection you’ll develop with a bonded pair is often incredibly deep. Their loyalty and love extend not only to each other but also to you, creating a unique and rewarding bond.
Adopting a bonded pair is a wonderful way to add twice the love to your home, and it’s a decision you won’t regret!
