"Midnight is one of my success stories! He was my first foster fail and I love him so much! He is one of the best dogs and was just misunderstood. He was well-loved until the day he passed away and always"
This is Carlos, the sweetest man. In 2016 I was helping at Zoom Room & he followed me all day. He was my first Chihuahua, & the start of many more to come.
I adopted Maisey from SOS in 2016. She was a stray and had been in horrible condition and had an injury on her back leg. Saver if Souls cleaned her up and unfortunately could not save her back leg. I was very fortunate to be able to adopt her! Maisey is living her best life. Everyone that meets her loves her and she loves them right back. She loves babies, children and even cats! She is the most lovable dog and enjoys snuggles and kisses. She even wakes me in the middle of the night to cuddle up to me. Thank you, Saver of Souls!
Sam, aka Sampson, came to us in Jan, 2019. He had had 2 adoptions that didn't work out, but the 3rd time was the charm. He's quite a momma's boy, following me if I walk more than 10 feet. Happy sleeping on the bed or chilling in a recliner and bossing the other pets around. Becoming quite a traveler, going from VA to FL and MI this year.
This is Charlie (previously peanut butter), we adopted him from SOS a little over 4 years ago and he has been the best addition to our family! Everyone who meets him loves him and wants to take him home with them. He thinks every visitor comes to see him and demands he sleep in bed with them and is a little upset if he isn’t allowed. He lovesssss kids and will not leave their side when here and will sleep outside my nieces door when they visit and wait for them to wake up. He loves walks, car rides, to snuggle and get belly rubs, ALL the treats, his many many toys, and his two older yorkie sisters and younger rescue brother max. We can’t imagine our life without him and are so thankful we were chosen to be his family!
Panda is an amazingly sweet dog. Took her a little while to adjust but when she did, we found the sweet loving girl she is. So lucky to have her.
Onyx adopted in 2015 (I think!) has been a Mama's girl from day 1. I love her! She is getting some grays but hasn't slowed down. We never knew her breed but a DNA test showed she is approx 1/2 chihuahua, the rest a mixture of Italian greyhound and pitbull and small percentage of random small breeds.
This is my sweet Tilly (aka Dopey when we adopted her). We found her at Saver of Souls in 2017 and she was perfect from the moment I first held her. She is the smartest, sweetest, most loyal dog I’ve ever had. She has seen my family through a terrible cancer diagnosis and gives us reasons to laugh every day! I can not imagine my life without her!
We adopted Prince 4 years ago. And, we can't live without him. We are inseparable
This is Potato(formerly known as Tater) adopted in Mar 2019. He’s the best dog for our baby. We love our spudy buddy, even if he still can’t figure out how to lay on the couch(or drive the car yet). (Available to Post)
Sophia aka Fiona and Suki, they came to us in 2020 and 2021 and we don’t know how life would be without our girls, we adore them, and they’re living their best lives when Sophia got here she was so skittish, now she came a long way, to the point she begs for us to pet her. Suki is pure joy, always happy and hungry lol and has Oreo, my senior as her buddy, they’re always sleeping and cuddling together. Seriously, if I could I would adopt more, our baby girls change our lives everyday for the better!
Sage has been with us for 7weeks and has been to Myrtle Beach, WV, Virginia, Maryland and Pittsburgh with us in our camper. She is watching us break down our camper before heading back to North Carolina. She is on a lead strapped to the seat while we hook up and she travels in her travel crate. She has been an excellent addition to our lives and family. She is smart, entertaining and affectionate. We love her so much!
Kai(Dashound) and Finnly(corgi/lab mix) both sos rescues. I got Kai when I got divorced because I had two dogs and they were split up unfortunately. I could tell Fin needed a buddy as a pretty social pup and Kai was the perfect match!
Holly! We adopted her almost 3 years ago. She is living her best life! We love her playful personality! Thank you for all you do for the dogs in your care!
Sprout, aka Gummy joined our family 4 years ago. He is cute as a button and just loves patrolling his yard and snuggling with his people. Our best rescue ever. Thank you for saving him.
This is Jett. I adopted him as a puppy from SOS in 2018. He has been to more than 30 national parks across the country. I developed alopecia universalis in 2021. At the same time he started to turn gray. Earlier this year the cause was determine and he was also diagnosed with alopecia. We were both born with this cosmetic condition and meant for each other. I’m so lucky to cope with it with him.
Parker came into my life Dec 19th 2021. He was not very friendly when we first met . I was advised that 2 people before me adopted him, but returned him after a few days. Well, I was not giving up on this little guy. I actually was looking for a smaller female and looked through 582!!! pictures. He was #583 and that face got to me He was listed as being in foster are since Dec 2021 and I thought he might not be there any more - but I was told that you still have him.
It took 3 hours sitting in front of the crate before he even came out. After 2 weeks I was allowed to give him his first belly-rub. I am in love with this energetic little guy. He still has issues with strangers, but children do not worry him. He is smart and only has issues when I need to have his nails clipped. The vet can only do this when he is "high" . I know that this little dude was meant to be with me. Thank you for trusting me with him. We take good care of each other. Ok
Adopted Waffles (aka Pincher at the time) as a puppy in March 2017…best decision ever!
This is Maple. We adopted her and her sister Kegan about 4 years ago. They have since learned to love and be loved. At first they were scared now they have accepted us
I adopted Murry in 2021 and he has been an absolute joy to have. He is smart, funny, and such a fun young gentleman. He quickly befriended my German Shepard, Leia, and they have been best friends ever since. She taught him confidence, how to play with toys, and even all her tricks! Murry fits so well into our little family and I am beyond happy to have had the chance to adopt him
I adopted tonka the January before my dad passed unexpectedly. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be here without her. She is my lifesaver and the best part of coming home everyday. I’m so thankful for finding her
I adopted Milo and Otis, formally Bear 8 years ago. They have been the best little dogs and have made my life better.
Annie Louise is the sweetest thing on earth! She definitely received lots of love and training in her foster home. She has been with us 2 years. This week we picked up Charlie...AKA Polar Bear. He is learning the routine quickly and is so eager to please. He is a challenge due to his background, and it will take some time, but he has found his furrever home!
